Our Philosophy

Learn! Be Active! Have Fun!

Learn!

Sports4Kids believes in Mem Fox's theory that from birth children should read/be read to 3 books per day and by the time they reach pre-school age they will be able to read.

Our books are designed to help learn educational skills as well as learning about what sports there are.

There are many other lessons that can be learnt from participation in sport.

Be Active!

Sports4Kids believes in the Australian Institue of Sports approach to participation in sport that children should also try a number of different sports as different sports develop different skills: for example running, swimming and cycling develop aerobic ability, whereas cricket, baseball, and gymnastics develop motor-skill/coordination and rugby, football and AFL develop interactive/social skills.

Have Fun!

Above all Sports4Kids also believes that children should at foremost have fun!  It really doesn't matter if you are not an olympian by age 5, if you have fun doing a sport keep doing it!
